RUDGWICK DAY IN THE SUNSHINE
Rudgwick Village Day was held on Sunday 4th May and the actress Susan Jameson kindly agreed to open the event.The afternoon’s sun brought out the crowds and amongst many varied stalls, there was dog agility, sheep racing, Sumo wrestling, Zumba, a dancing display from young locals and plenty of beer from Firebird Brewery as well as cider from the Old Rudgwick Cider Society. Bands played from late afternoon into early evening and the atmosphere was pure village.
Susan enjoyed wandering around the stalls, buying a few items and chatting with many people. We were delighted that she gave up some of her precious time to be with us.
