THE DAME VERA LYNN TRUST RECEIVES
CHARITY OF THE YEAR AWARD AT THE
WEST SUSSEX COUNTY TIMES COMMUNITY AWARDS
We are absolutely delighted to have won the 'Charity of the Year' award at the West Sussex County Times Community awards at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham on Tuesday night 19th November. Staff from the School for Parents in West Sussex and the Trust office were presented with the award by Mark Dunford, Head of News for Sussex Newspapers. A big thank you to Sandy Duck for nominating us for the award, Gary Shipton and Theo Cronin from West Sussex County Times for hosting the event in conjunction with Horsham District Council and the Capitol Theatre for putting on such a great evening. Thanks also go to the sponsors of the Charity of the Year Award, The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum in West Sussex.
It is wonderful to be rewarded for the service we provide as a charity to all the families and children who attend our schools and to the dedicated staff at our School for Parents in both West Sussex and Suffolk.
