OPEN GARDEN RAISES £450 FOR OUR CHARITY!
Huge thanks to the lovely David and Bridget Cozens who opened their beautiful garden to the public on Saturday 20th June. They worked incredibly hard leading up to the event to have it in tip top order and it looked lovely despite a bit of grizzly drizzle during the afternoon!
Gardening expert Jean Griffin was kept very busy with questions and we are so grateful for her attendance. Thanks also to everyone who turned up, enjoyed the garden and a strawberry cream tea and didn't moan about the rain. We could not have done this without the army of hard working volunteers so many, many thanks to you all too. Lots of people are now in love with Peter Barker Muzzell from Munneries in East Wittering because of his generous donation of the most gorgeously delicious strawberries in the world!
A total of around £450 was raised thanks to the additional commission from Jenny Dalton's cards. It was a fun day. Thank you EVERYONE!!
