BRIGHTON MARATHON - SUNDAY 10TH APRIL 2011

Yes, it’s running up to Marathon time again! The Trust has acquired TEN places for the 2011 Brighton Marathon and with three already snapped up, we’re looking for a fearless few more to pound 26.2 miles of the streets of Brighton. If you applied through the ballot for the Virgin London Marathon, you will be hearing whether or not you got a place in early October – so if you don’t get in there, please come with us to Brighton. If you’ve never ever run a whole marathon but have a sneaky desire to do so, please come with us to Brighton. Brighton’s a lot of fun!



Last year was a truly fabulous day of huge crowds cheering runners on, of glorious sunshine, friendship, fun and achievement for every single participant, and of massive fundraising by thousands of charity runners representing hundreds of charities.
The Dame Vera Lynn Trust would love you to be one of those runners. We provide a personalised running vest, a champagne picnic on the beach at the finish and all the support you could possibly need.
