Paralympian, Sophia Warner becomes a Patron of
The Dame Vera Lynn Trust
We are delighted that Paralympian, Sophia Warner has agreed to become a Patron of The Dame Vera Lynn Trust.
Sophia is an international athlete who just happens to have cerebral palsy. She competed in the London 2012 Paralympic Games, coming 4th in the Women's T35 100m and 4th in the Women's T35 200m and won a bronze medal in the T35 100m at the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games in 2013.
Sophia recently made her first visit to the Dame Vera Lynn Trust School for Parents in Five Oaks and also started and then took part in our charity A2B Walk from Arundel to Brighton.
Sophia is someone who fully understands the issues and complexities of cerebral palsy. She will be a real asset to the charity and is already proving to be very popular with the families who attend our School for Parents.
