Term Times

TERM DATES ACADEMIC YEAR 2010/2011

Autumn Term 2010

Term commences on Wednesday 1st September and ends on Friday 17th December 2010.

Pupils do not return to school until: Monday 6th September 2010.

INSET DAYS are 1st 2nd and 3rd September 2010 and 22nd October 2010.*

There will be no groups on Friday 17th December 2010.

Half Term is from Monday 25th October to Friday 29th October inclusive.


Spring Term 2011

Term commences on Tuesday 4th January 2011 and ends on Friday 8th April 2011.

Half Term is from Monday 21st February to Friday 25th February inclusive.

Pupils do not return to school until: Wednesday 5th January 2011

There will be an INSET DAY on 4th January 2011.

There will be no groups on Friday 8th April 2011.


Summer Term 2011

Term commences on Tuesday 26th April 2011 and ends on Friday 22nd July 2011.

Half Term is from Monday 30th May to Friday 3rd June inclusive.

There will be an INSET DAY on 27th May 2011.

There will be no groups on Friday 22nd July 2011.

School will be closed for Bank Holiday on Monday 2nd May 2011.


In order to maximise the School for Parents service, it would be helpful if parents are intending to take holiday in term time, please notify Sarah Ffoulkes Roberts.

Please note that the above is based on West Sussex dates. We are aware that the pattern does vary so please check if you have children attending schools in different areas.

*Subject to parliamentary approval, any school delivering the primary curriculum will be given an extra non-contact day for 2010/11 to assist with the reformed primary curriculum coming into effect in 2011/12.  For Ingfield Manor School and School for Parents this will be 22nd October 2010.
