Corporate Partners
Why Partner with us

Corporate support is absolutely essential to the work of The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy. We work with a range of companies and supporters to identify mutually beneficial partnerships that not only raise vital funds for our Schools for Parents but also help companies achieve their business objectives.

Benefits of partnering with us include:

• Strengthen your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility
• Attracting and motivating staff while increasing retention and improving loyalty
• Enhancing reputation leading to improved customer loyalty and the opportunity to engage
  new customers
• Recognition and thanks on our website, in newsletters and media
• An invitation to visit our Schools for Parents
• A long term partnership with us can increase PR opportunities and prove to stakeholders a genuine
  commitment to helping others

What we can offer:

Companies will have the opportunity to be involved in supporting our work with children with cerebral palsy and their families, which include:

• Supporting Parent and Child Group initiatives
• Conductive Education Programme
• Holiday scheme
• Sponsorship programmes

Ways of working with us:

There are hundreds of simple and fun ways to raise funds through your offices from cake sales, quizzes, to dress down days and we can provide you with fundraising ideas and advice. For the more active, our challenge events include anything from marathons and fun runs, cycling to triathlons or taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime challenge such as trekking to Machu Picchu. Find out more about ways of working with us:

• Charity of the Year Partnerships
• Employee Fundraising
• Employee Volunteering
• Payroll Giving
• Company Donations
• Sponsorship
• Gifts in Kind
• Cause Related Marketing

Charity of the Year Partnerships offer a strategic fundraising programme across all parts of a business engaging staff, customers and suppliers. A calendar of events and fundraising initiatives can motivate staff and raise morale as well as generate a lot of positive PR for your company.

Employee Fundraising
is a great way to bring colleagues together and boost morale.
Whether it’s the whole company or a few colleagues, we can help with ideas and advice. From races to raffles there is something for everyone to get involved. Talk to us about holding a fun day at your workplace.

Employee Volunteering initiatives such as painting our buildings or making contributions to the upkeep and environment of the Schools for Parents in both West Sussex and Suffolk can be used to form team building days. Companies can also assist us by advertising events on their intranet, rallying employees to get involved or lending us their own particular business expertise.

Payroll Giving is a tax-effective way to support us by donating direct from your salary.
Donations are taken before tax so if you give £10 a month, only £7.80 is deducted. If your company already has a payroll giving scheme, contact your payroll department and nominate us as your chosen charity. If your company does not have a payroll giving scheme, please visit the HM Revenues & Customs website to find out how you can introduce one.

Company Donations are the simplest and most effective way to support the work of The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy. In addition to helping to improve the lives of children and their families, you have the opportunity of offsetting your charitable giving against your company’s corporation tax.

Sponsorship can help to promote your company’s profile and reach new audiences.
Whether it’s sponsoring one of our events to publications, there is a wide range of opportunities to work with us.

Gifts in Kind can be used as auction or raffle items at our events or placed in goodie bags. You may be able to offer a venue or services for free or maybe some office equipment or skills training.

Cause Related Marketing can help you develop your brand awareness, increase customer loyalty as well as increase sales. On-pack promotions are a simple way to engage with customers, secure positive PR and raise money for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy.

We are passionately committed to improving the lives of young children, and so are our supporters. We build successful relationships that are engaging and rewarding, and offer a tangible focus for fundraising. To find out more about how your company can make a difference to the lives of children with cerebral palsy please contact: Trust office on 01403 780444
