Legacy Donations
There is no 'cure' for cerebral palsy and the Trust needs your help to continue and expand its work, providing vital support for children with special needs and their families. We all worry about rising costs and uncertainties but the inclusion of a Legacy for the Trust in your Will would provide valuable help at some future time without adding to your current expenditure.
WHAT LEGACIES HAVE DONE FOR THE TRUST
Legacies received last year enabled us to expand our services into East Anglia to increase the number of families registered from 60 to 80. We have families who travel from Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Essex, Middlesex, Berkshire, East Anglia and the London boroughs to use our service. Legacies of any size are valuable to the Trust.
If you already have a Will, a simple Codicil is all that is needed to provide for a Legacy. You do not need to write a new Will. If you would like further information on how to do this or if you have not yet made a Will please contact the trust office and we can send you our Will Writing Pack. Alternatively you can download the information by clicking on the links below.
We have teamed up with a number of local solicitors who have offered their support to help with all aspects of legacy and Will writing services. Please note The Dame Vera Lynn Trust is completely independent of any of the solicitors supporting us with this service.

We also held a Will Writing week last year which was supported by Spofforths and George Ide and raised £2075 in donations for the Trust. We are holding another Will Writing week this year from Monday 14th to Friday 18th October 2013 and once again local solicitors will be making appointments for you to write your Will FREE OF CHARGE. Instead of a fee they will be asking for a donation to the Dame Vera Lynn Trust. Please check our website nearer the time for details of how you can take advantage of this scheme.
